The 1st XI continued their excellent season with a hard fought 2-1 victory against Billericay in the Essex Cup. Playing with confidence the side lead at half time with goals from Phagura and Akinpelu. Billericay piled on pressure in the second half and found a way back into it latching onto a defensive mistake. The teams character was tested and passed with flying colours as they fought to the end to see it home. They now go into the Essex Cup semi-finals to be played after the half term against local rivals Southend.
