Registration

Please ensure you read all information available

If you would like to register as an External Candidate at St Thomas More High School, please download the complete registration form, and email to:

exams@st-thomasmore.southend.sch.uk

We endeavour to acknowledge registrations as soon as possible (please be mindful that we are a working school and so are closed in the school holidays and the exams department do not have full time hours)

Timeline:

September to January – Registration Period. Invoices issued if candidate accepted

February – Statement of Entry issued for checking

April – Timetables issued

Deadline is 1st October 2026 for November Season, 1st February 2029 for June (Summer) Season

Fees

Fees for the exam will vary depending on what qualification you are sitting:

GCSE (excluding Combined Science/MFL) £190

iGCSE (Pearson Edexcel only) £200

GCSE MFL £210

GCSE Combined Science £220

A-Level £260

GCSE and A-level course that require a spoken exam may be subject to additional examiners fees. This can be discussed with the Exams Officer via the email above.

We do not currently register candidates for subjects with a practical element. Please see list of subjects
