Friends of St Thomas More (FOSTM) relaunch and request for help

There are a few simple ways you can help us:

  • Join the FOSTM Facebook group - Friends of St Thomas More High School | Facebook
  • Offer to help offer refreshments at a school event.

  • Come to a fundraising event.
  • You could help fundraise for the school by collecting free donations for St Thomas More Parents' Association - Southend, Westcliff on Sea every time you buy anything online with the UK’s leading online fundraising service, easyfundraising.
  1. With over 3.1 thousand shops and sites on board including Amazon, eBay, John Lewis, Sainsbury’s, Virgin Trains and Aviva, you can get donations on everything from your weekly shop to your annual holiday and it doesn't cost a penny extra!
  2. Plus, if you join and support St Thomas More Parents' Association - Southend, Westcliff on Sea we’ll get an extra £2 when you raise your first donation.
  3. It's really simple, all you have to do is:

    • Every time you want to shop go to easyfundraising, find the site you want and start shopping

  5. 5. Click on the image here and play the school lottery. If every family in the school signed up to play one a week a month, the FOTSM would raise over £5,000 a year.
  6. 6. Support the Preloved Uniform Shop either by donating old uniform to the school to sell or by shopping at the Preloved shop yourself. Click on the image and message FOSTM through the Facebook group.

Setting up Easy Fundraising

Step by step guide to registering with easyfundraising.org.uk

  1. Go to www.easyfundraising.org.uk
  2. In the join now box type in St Thomas More Parents' Association - Southend, Westcliff On Sea and click the find button.
  3. Once you have selected our cause please click on the red join us button.
  4. You will then be prompted to enter your personal details of name, email, and password. Complete this section and click on the green create account button.
  5. You will then be asked if you wish to gift aid your donations.
  6. It’s as simple as that. Now you are registered  you can use the search box to find a retailer or click on the tabs at the top to find out more about easyfundraising including using easysearch as a search engine and raise even more for us.
  7. In the extra donations tab you can find a reminder tool and mobile app.

We hope this guide will help you in setting up registration. Please remember to then search for retailers through www.easyfundraising.org.uk every time you make an online purchase. Any amount is worth doing as it all adds up. Please pass on this information to friends and family as they can also help support us in this way.
