Prefects’ Induction Assembly

On Monday, our new Prefects were formally presented with their ties and made a commitment to this important leadership role. I am sure they understand their importance within the school community and will carry out their duties and responsibilities with due diligence at all times. They will continue to grow as role models for the students of the lower school. I look forward to celebrating Mass with them and the retiring prefects at St Peter’s Church this evening.
To those who were not selected, remember that I value the contributions every student makes to the school; however, unfortunately, not all those who applied can be selected. The application process and the voting system are underpinned by our Gospel values, recognising not only love and service to the school, but also justice, forgiveness and mercy.
