Year 9 & 10 Borough Tennis Championships

With heated debate on whether Shoebury’s number one player would turn up to play in the first year 9 and 10 combined Borough Tennis Championship, the STM team were well prepared with a good standard of players from many of the local tennis clubs competing for us. The early stages saw some excellent tennis with Will Morely, Arthur Moorehouse and Charlie Beresford all reaching the knock out stages. It was Arthur who progressed to the semi-finals, getting beaten by said Shoebury superstar who eventually went on win the tournament. Arthur took the 3rd place medal winning his final game. A great contest with and excellent standard.
