Westcliff 1-1 STM 1st XI

The 1st XI go into the Christmas break still unbeaten after picking up a point away to Westcliff. It was a game they should have won but a failure to create clear cut chances meant a point was a fair reflection of the game. Going behind half way through the first half to a wonder strike from Westcliff got the side going. For the rest of the half they moved the ball with purpose and got their reward with a looping header from Robinson on the stroke of halftime. The side tried to push for the winner but couldn't quite find the opening this time.

We are now halfway through the season and sit top of the Essex League but there is still lots of work to do with big games to come in January against our title challengers
