An Impressive Start To Year 7 Rugby At STM

Our Year 7 rugby team were in action last week and played some fantastic rugby throughout the game. The squad has improved more game by game, finishing the season unbeaten at home in all competitive games.

They were excellent at the breakdown and carried the ball well in contact situations, the forwards are beginning to work as a pack and the backs moved the ball into space well, attacking wide areas. Chase School were unable to cope with the pace and power throughout the team and some excellent tries were scored throughout the game.

The game finished STM 43 – Chase 5. Well done to all pupils involved, they must now build on their successes when rugby resumes in September.
