Holland Football Tour 2014

Over half term Our Year 8, 9 and 10 football squads travelled to Rotterdam, on their first football tour. Students were put through their paces with from the offset by the Feyenoord Coaches, the lead coach was ex professional striker Michael Obiki who really pushed the boys to develop in all sessions.
Evening activities included bowling, a pizza night, and a trip to the Amsterdam Arena to see Ajax play the Go Ahead Eagles and a tour of the De Kuip Stadium.
Alongside the training and trips our 4 teams had the opportunity to test their footballing skills on foreign soil. All teams performed very well and we came away victorious in all games vs DWO Zoeteremere. The Year 8 team won 12-0, The Year 9 team won 9-0 and our Year 10 team won 5-4 (with a last minute goal).
I would like to thank Mr Hardiman, Mr Kearney, Mr Bass and Mr Griffin for their help on the tour.
