The 1st XI continued to extend their lead at the top of the league with an emphatic victory away to Colchester Sixth Form College. A blistering start all but finished the game off in the first 17 mins as the side took a commanding four nil lead and looked as if could score every time they attacked. The goals continued to come and at the halfway stage lead 6-0 with goals from Afreh (3), Grotti, Follett and Phagura. Early in the second half Phagura and Follett did what Henry and Pires couldn’t manage and scored a South Korean Vine inspired penalty. Take a look at the link below!! The rout continued with 8,9 and 10 coming from Afreh, Akinpelu and Phagura. Two important games in the coming weeks will allow the side to see where they are at and if they can extend their 8 point lead. Excellent performance by all.
