The Under 15 cricket team took a massive scalp in the Essex Cup by beating one of the favourites for the tournament in a rain-affected match. Batting  first, the STM team put on 95 in their 20 overs, with Thomas (13), Curtis (26) and Roy (15) all contributing important runs. Tight bowling from Waller, Thomas and Curtis ensured it was going to be a tight finish although the result hung in the balance with the Bancroft captain batting well on his way to 38. Cullen took two important catches to ensure the team hung on for the win to make it to the quarter-final of this prestigious competition. A great all-round performance from the whole team.  As always, thank you to the families of the boys for their support.
