School Play - Tickets on sale now!

Discrimination. Justice. Love.

Themes which never go out of fashion and which continue to be relevant in any era…

The fifth annual Shakespeare festival at St Thomas More is The Merchant of Venice.

Once more we have had the benefit of support from the Royal Shakespeare Company who came into the school, worked with the cast at the beginning of the production and helped us clarify what we wanted from this production. The theme is heavily interested by ideas and images of the ships, cargo and the sea. We have a number of familiar performers from last year’s hugely successful Julius Caesar as well as a host of new actors from all year groups. As usual it will be the classic STM mix of high quality acting with  twists, singing and unicycling!

Directed by Mr Jenkins and Mrs Cotgrove, the play is performed on 19th and 20th March at 7pm. Tickets are £3, they go on sale on 4th March and can be bought at lunchtimes from the Year 7 and Year 8 cast members.

We look forward to seeing you there.
